									<p>If you are using Infusionsoft to build your email list&#8230;having the ability to track contacts based on when they signed up and under which tag they were added, can be a great asset to your business.</p><p>In this post, I show you step by step how to set up tagging by date and how to use this information to automate your marketing.</p><p><strong>Here&#8217;s 4 ways that you can use these tags:</strong></p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>#1:</strong> Segment contact and move into a particular campaign</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>#2:</strong> Send them a specific broadcast based upon their indicated interest in your content</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>#3: </strong> Measure and see how effective a particular campaign is</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>#4: </strong> Use them to monitor your ongoing campaigns to see if they continue to be effective and determine if they may need improvements.</p><h3 style="text-align: center;"><strong>Step by Step Instructions To Help You Set up Infusionsoft Tagging By Date:</strong></h3><p>Here is a simple report to run so you can see what activity has happened under specific tags within a specific time frame.</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Step #1:</strong> To start, go to your main menu and click on reports at the bottom of the Marketing column:</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/screenshot1.jpg"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4106" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/screenshot1.jpg" alt="screenshot1" width="500" height="231" /></a></p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Step #2:</strong> Click on the blue “Tag Applications”:</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/screenshot2.png"><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4102" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/screenshot2.png" alt="screenshot2" width="500" height="238" /></a></p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Step #3:</strong> It will give you a place to put in the dates you want to run the report for. Insert the dates and click search. Then it will take you to the following page. 									<p>If you&#8217;re an Infusionsoft application owner you may be wondering how to improve your marketing to your leads.</p><p>You may already know that building email list so that you can market and sell to your prospects is one of your most important marketing activities.</p><p>It is the easiest way for you to build a relationship with and keep in touch with prospects who have interest in your digital products and/or services.</p><p>However, knowing exactly what to do with your new leads after they&#8217;ve joined your email list is critical to building that initial relationship so that you can convert them into paying customers.</p><p>Imagine having 1000 brand new prospects from multiple sources and they are all jumbled together in your campaign software&#8230;.yikes!</p><p>Imagine having no idea what brought them to your site or what their interests are, you just know you have those 1000 names.</p><p>Or&#8230;imagine having those same 1000 prospects who are organized and tagged appropriately so you can market to them so that they are moved from prospect to happy customer.</p><p>I&#8217;ve created following tutorial where I’m going to walk you through the steps of setting up a simple lead capture form in your Infusionsoft application.</p><p>For today’s example, we are going to pretend that you have an ebook you are giving free in exchange for your prospect&#8217;s information.</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Step One: </strong> Log into your Infusionsoft application and head on over to the campaign builder.</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/start.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class=" size-full wp-image-4015 aligncenter" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/start.jpg" alt="start" width="641" height="323" /></a></p><p>This will bring you inside the Campaign builder where you will see a  list of all your campaigns that have been built and deployed.</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Step #2:</strong> You will click in the top left-hand corner on the white box that says Get Campaign Templates.</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/templates.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4016" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/templates.jpg" alt="templates" width="600" height="170" /></a></p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Step #3:</strong> You will be directed to a screen full of lots of templates. Scroll through a few pages until you see the <b>“Simple Lead Capture”</b> box.</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/simplelead_temp.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4017" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/simplelead_temp-300x191.jpg" alt="simplelead_temp" width="300" height="191" /></a></p><p>When you click on the box, it will show this menu and you simply click <b>Install</b>:</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/install.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4018" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/install-300x204.jpg" alt="install" width="300" height="204" /></a></p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Step #4:</strong> Once the campaign template is installed, it will return you to the list screen and you’ll see the campaign created and you can double click on it to open it to the next section.</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/backtolist.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4019" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/backtolist.jpg" alt="backtolist" width="600" height="170" /></a></p><p>It will open up to this screen with the basic format in place. Double click on the <b>New Lead Sequence</b>.</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/doubleclick.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4020" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/doubleclick.jpg" alt="doubleclick" width="700" height="308" /></a></p><p>After double-clicking, it will open up to the following screen and you’ll want to double click on the <b>New Lead</b> checkmark button:</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/newleadclick.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4021" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/newleadclick.jpg" alt="newleadclick" width="369" height="285" /></a></p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Step #5:</strong> This will open up the correspondence where you are going to create for your new leads to see once they have entered and confirmed their information.</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;">This email will automatically go out. You can put the link to your free ebook here or the link to the page where they will download it from.</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;">Fill it out with whatever information you want.</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/filloutsection.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4022" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/filloutsection.jpg" alt="filloutsection" width="500" height="393" /></a></p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Step #6:</strong> Once you have the email set up the way you want it, look up in the top left-hand corner where it says Draft.</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;">Click this to change it to Ready and it will also turn it green.</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/draft.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4024" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/draft.jpg" alt="draft" width="562" height="379" /></a></p><p>On the opposite side, after you change the draft to ready, click on the blue <b>Back to Sequence</b> button on the right-hand side:</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/backtosequence.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4025" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/backtosequence.jpg" alt="backtosequence" width="262" height="149" /></a></p><p>Once back to Sequence, you’ll also change the draft to ready and then click <b>Back to Campaign.</b></p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/ready.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4023" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/ready.jpg" alt="ready" width="500" height="183" /></a></p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Step 7:</strong> At this point, you are now ready to publish your Infusionsoft campaign.</p><p><a href="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/publish.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4026" src="https://kristenpoborsky.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/publish.jpg" alt="publish" width="500" height="217" /></a></p><p style="padding-left: 40px;"><strong>Step #8:</strong> The last thing you’ll want to do is grab the code to install on your website. 									<p><em><strong>One goal that always comes up on my list each year is to be more focused and find ways improve my productivity.</strong></em></p><p>My team and I  work with a number of different clients so keeping my to do list up to date and staying on top of projects and tasks  is one of the most important things I do on a daily basis.</p><p> </p><h2 style="text-align: center;"><strong>My list of my favorite tools that keep me on track &amp; boost my productivity</strong></h2><p> </p><p><strong>1.  Evernote</strong> &#8211; I use Evernote to take notes with my clients during my strategy sessions with them.  I have pretty much gone paperless in my office during 2012.  Gone are the yellow legal pads with notes and scrambling to find that important detail.  Everything is right there and organized by month.  I have even created marketing plans for the entire year and can even keep them easily updated and share with my clients.</p><p><strong>2.  Team Work Live</strong> Project management tool &#8211; I have a team I work with to be even more efficient and I delegate and track their tasks using this tool.  One of the many things I love about this is that I can see what tasks are open, overdue and keep all of my clients files here.</p><p> </p><p><strong>3.  Passpack</strong> &#8211; how do you manage your passwords?  Do you have them all written down, in your head or in a spreadsheet?  I love Passpack!  It allows me to be mobile and I can access any password I need from my office or on the road!  Plus the 1-click login makes me more productive.</p><p> </p><p><strong>4.  Social Oomph</strong> &#8211; Want to ramp up your content marketing efforts with out compromising your productivity?  Use Social Oomph as a dashboard and automate your social media efforts into a central place.</p><p>If you aren&#8217;t already using Social Oomph to set up your social media and content delivery to your audiences then it&#8217;s time to get this set up!</p><p>The number one thing I like best about Social Oomph is that you create content queues (think of them like a bucket of rotating content) that you set up once add your content and it keeps on rotating your content for you.</p><p>Adding Social Oomph to our content marketing really boosted our productivity levels because we do not have to go back in and continually set up content each month.</p><p>Instead, all we do is to add new content to the bucket.</p><p>When I set up a content campaign for my clients using Social Oomph, I see their lists growing and more engagement with their ideal clients.  If you do not have a regular plan to send content to your audiences, then you need to get on board!  This is guaranteed to build your list and create loyal followers.</p><p>And last but not least&#8230;.</p><p> </p><p><strong>5.  Infusionsoft</strong> &#8211; I use infusionsoft for marketing with quite a few of my higher end clients.  I have used other shopping carts and autoresponder services and this is hands down the best product on the market for marketing funnel automation and productivity..  If you are serious about growing your business and creating effective marketing campaigns you will want to check it out!</p>								</div>

									<p>A successful blog is all about how many people are visiting your site, interacting on your site and coming back to your site. If you can achieve these three things, you are guaranteed to grow your numbers and increase your SEO. One of the best ways to do this is through effective landing pages that help to build your list.</p><p>In today’s article, I’m going to walk through the steps to create a more effective landing page and how to do it quickly to save time and money.<br /><br /></p><h3><strong>Keep it Simple</strong></h3><p>How your landing page is designed in overall structure will have a large impact on the effectiveness and how well it drives conversions. Your main goal should be to make it as easy as possible for a visitor to convert, it is important that your elements work together to reach the conversion goal. This can be for filling out a form, signing up for a newsletter, downloading an ebook, etc.</p><p>Use color and eye-catching images. Even the color of your buttons will be more effective for increasing conversion rates. It has been proven that red and green are clicked the most, but most importantly is making sure there is a strong contrast between your button and background.<br /><br /></p><h3><strong>Make your pages Adaptive</strong></h3><p>With so many social media platforms, it can attract multiple types of people. If your offer has been promoted well, you will likely get traffic from a number of sources. The best way to make the most of this is to have multiple landing pages for the different audiences.<br /><br /></p><h3><strong>Make them Responsive</strong></h3><p>Responsive Design is heard by everyone in the blogosphere and that is because it is so important. More and more people are clicking through things on their devices and they will quickly leave a landing page if they have to move it all over the place, just to find where to sign up. So make sure when you are creating your landing pages, they can rearrange in an up and down manner for a mobile phone and the user can see everything they need to. Remember it is your job to make the user experience effortless. Many will not have the patience to stick around if it isn’t.<br /><br /></p><h3><strong>Know What you Need for Your Business</strong></h3><p>Create landing pages that will work best for your business. For example, if you are wanting to increase attendance at webinars you host, then combine the registration for those events with the ThankYou page. This way you are utilizing traffic you are already getting and funneling them into a way to learn more about your business. You can also use lead boxes to pop up when people visit your site, but be sure that these are done effectively and not an annoyance to users.<br /><br /></p><h3><strong>Test Your Landing Page</strong></h3><p>This is probably one of the most important things you can do before you take it live. You will want to make sure the process is seamless and that everything has been integrated properly. 									<p>You&#8217;ve created and written your Infusionsoft campaign. Now what? Before sending it out, you’ll want to take it for a test drive to make sure you will be putting your best foot forward upon launching.</p><p>You want to take the opportunity to look at it from the eyes of your customers. Ignoring this important step can cost you sales. It isn’t hard and it won’t take long.</p><p>I’m here to walk you through the process in four easy steps!</p><h3><strong><br />Step 1: Clear your cookies and use a different browser</strong></h3><p>Using a separate browser helps to give you an idea of what others will see in different browsers. You will also want to clear the cookies because Infusionsoft uses cookies and you don’t want those to skew your results.</p><p>You will also want to send it to a unique email. Doing this before you test your current campaign so you can see how it all goes through for a brand new contact. This is especially important when forms are involved. If you need a temporary email to test, follow <a href="http://www.fakemailgenerator.com/#/fleckens.hu/qfraid2169/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">this link</a> to generate a test email.<br /><br /></p><h3><strong>Step 2: Test the Emails</strong></h3><p>Before you complete your email and publish them you need to do a thorough test to make sure they look good and all links are working properly.</p><ol><li>Click on the preview button and look at the email and test your links as the first test.</li><li>Then send a test to a couple of different email addresses &#8211; your email may look different in Gmail vs Outlook or Yahoo. It&#8217;s a good idea to take a look at how it comes through in a couple of different email providers.</li><li>If your email doesn&#8217;t look right, you&#8217;ll want to go back in and make corrections and re-test until they look perfect.  Doing this now saves getting those emails from recipients saying something doesn&#8217;t work!<br /><br /></li></ol><h3><strong>Step 3: Test the notifications</strong></h3><p>As you run through the campaign, test any notifications or information that was created as part of the campaign. Change the notification to be sent to you so you can see what the information looks like. Review it, make corrections, test it again and then send to the client for review. Follow this three-step process for testing your emails:</p><ol><li>First run a test to yourself for the initial run through to confirm that the formatting looks good in different browsers and using different email providers. Make sure that each link is clicked and works properly before sending a test to the client.</li><li>Once the initial test is complete, send another test to the client for their review, edits and final approval.</li><li>Once you&#8217;ve received the okay from the client, change the delivery timer and send yourself through the sequence to make sure the flow is working correctly.<br /><br /></li></ol><h3><strong>Step 4: Remove the test Contact Record</strong></h3><p>Once the campaign has been thoroughly tested, it is time to clean up.</p><ul><li>Remove the contact record that was used in testing the campaign.</li><li>Make sure that all notifications are changed and being sent to the right person.</li></ul><p><br />Running through these steps to test your infusionsoft campaign will save you the embarrassment, aggravation and headache from having to clean up those same messes later.</p><p>Need  help building and testing your Infusionsoft Campaigns? 									<p>Infusionsoft sometimes known as confusionsoft!</p><p>Don&#8217;t worry the folks over in the marketplace have lots of great campaigns pre-built and ready for you to set them up in your application.</p><p>I&#8217;ve talked about my top five must have Infusionsoft Campaigns and in this post I&#8217;m going to focus on the 3 most popular campaigns in the Infusionsoft Marketplace. What is so great about these is that they are completely free and they have even created great training videos to help you get started using them.</p><p>I love these campaigns as a starting point for building more customized campaigns for my Infusionsoft Clients. Set up and send emails and newsletters</strong></span></h3><p>Delegate those weekly emails or newsletters you currently send to your team.  You should be spending your time working on income producing activities instead of setting up, testing and scheduling those emails. All you need to do  is write your copy, hand it off to your team and approve the final copy to be sent to your list. It is simple as that!<br /><br /></p><h3><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><strong>2. Import and add contacts</strong></span></h3><p>Building your list is important and an ongoing activity for any business.  You should have a few campaigns built around this to automate the adding and marketing to new people on you list.  Here are 3 that you should have set up in your infusionsoft application:</p><p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>A.  Main Mailing List Opt In.</strong></p><p style="padding-left: 30px;">This is the very first campaign you should have set up in your application!  It goes without saying that giving your website visitors a way to easily get on your mailing list is one of the most important ways that your website can help you build your business.  And following up with the right email follow up sequence over 21-30  days will help to build your rapport with your new subscribers.</p><p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>B.  Networking Campaign</strong></p><p style="padding-left: 30px;">Anytime you are out networking, you should be collecting business cards and asking them if they would like to be on your mailing list.  The <a href="http://kristenpoborskyteam.com/kristen/list-building-with-snap-by-infusionsoft/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">snap by infusionsoft app</a> can really help automate this process.  The key this campaign is to personalize it to your networking event and to follow up with some really great content that your new contacts will find of value.  Again, this follow up sequence should span 21-30 days.</p><p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>C.  Speaking Engagement Campaign</strong></p><p style="padding-left: 30px;">Like the networking campaign, you should have a sign up sheet or collect business cards at each of your speaking engagements.  This campaign can be easily set up to tag the names and a personalized follow up sequence to continue to build your rapport with your audience.</p><p><br />And let&#8217;s not forget that if you have names that need to be imported from another autoresponder system, those names can be easily downloaded and uploaded into infusionsoft.  Then a tag can be applied to keep these contacts organized for you.<br /><br /></p><h3><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><strong>3. Clean up data</strong></span></h3><p>Your Infusionsoft team should routinely perform Data Cleanup to merge any duplicate records to keep your list clean.<br /><br /></p><h3><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><strong>4.
