I suggest you read through the list of 7 affiliate blog post ideas below.

Then…I want you to start thinking about how you can create the sort of content that provides for your readers and offers a natural way to increase your bottom line.

7 Affiliate Blog Post Ideas

Use them to help increase your bottom line.

#1: Write a “how to” Post.

This is my number #1 favorite type of post and should comprise a big portion of your blog post types.

If you can show your audience how to do something using a tool that you have an affiliate link for, this is a great way to get them excited about trying out a product.

Here’s a blog post that walks you through writing a how to post.

#2: Resources post:

If you don’t already have a list of resources I would do that FIRST and add your affiliate links.

I’ve got one here on my site that is pretty simple and features tools that I personally use in my business and recommend.

#3: Product reviews:

These affiliate blog posts are a must.. especially ones that you are promoting a specific product that you’ve personally used and gotten great results from.!

However, if there is a product that you don’t like…a negative review is also something you can do to build trust with your audience.

#4: Product comparisons are also good posts because people who read those are often ready to but don’t know which one is the right fit for their needs.

#5: Case Study Posts.

If you or someone you know has used a product with great results, write a case study post. Include testimonials and if you can include a video interview to make your post even more powerful.

#6:  Favorite books.

Run out of ideas?  Writing a review of your favorite books is another great way you can offer products that will benefit your audience when you don’t have any products that you want to write about.

It’s pretty easy to find books that your niche is interested in.  All you need to do is to head on over to Amazon, create an affiliate account and then go search for popular books in your niche.

I highly recommend reading the book first and writing a review based on your own opinion of the book.

#7: Create a resource page.

I know this isn’t a post but you MUST have a resource page.  I love these pages for many reasons.

The first reason is that it is a great way to tie all of your blog content together on a single page or post.  Doing this creates a powerful way to create link juice or in layman’s terms give more SEO juice to your blog content.

How you create one of these is to plan out a resource page that ties your blog posts into it and your recommendations for tools or programs all onto a single page.  You use the page to link back to your best content on your blog.

You can see an example of one here on my site at the How to Build an Email List resource page.  Notice how the page is written naturally and that I’ve been able to link back to helpful resources for my readers.
