No matter if it is the beginning of a new year, the end or anywhere in between it’s always to a good time to work on building better habits.
I just read an article on Medium called 13 things you should give up if you want to be successful….and in reading this article it hit me that most of these items were habit oriented.
It strikes me that having the right habits will help move you into a more successful place and that is what all of us entrepreneurs want.
Here’s how to get started
Step 1: Create a new picture
All you need to do is to send a picture of what you want your new habit to be to your brain. Picture it as the here and now.
Step 2: Repeat, repeat, repeat
Just pick one and get started – keep doing this, repeating this process over and over will help create a clear intention in your brain.
Doing this practice takes it deeper into your being, into your soul.
Step 3: Practice your new habit
What matters is whether you are truly ready to start living and breathing your new habit. Keep confirming it through the daily repetition of picturing yourself.
Changing is the easy part, maintaining the new habit is everything when building new habits. People can and do change in mere seconds. It’s the actions you are willing to take to create a new habit or self-perception is the key to building new habits.
Tell yourself daily “I can be and do this.”
